Annapurna Studios enters Film Distribution with Non Telugu film. Renowned production house Annapurna Studios, entered into Film Distribution. It is set to distribute Malayalam mystery thriller Eko in two Telugu states.
Eko is directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and stars Sandeep Pradeep, Vineeth, Narain, Binu Pappu, and Biana Momin in prominent roles. The film is set for release on 21 November 2025.
Annapurna Studios ED Supriya Yarlagadda shared "Films like EKO remind us why we back new ideas. We’re happy to be the distribution partners for this Malayalam film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and it’s especially significant as this is the first time we are distributing a non-Telugu film."
The film is written and shot by Bahul Ramesh, the film is produced by MRK Jhayaram under Aaradyaa Studios. The music is tuned by Mujeeb Majeed and cinematography by Bahul Ramesh. The film's story is set in the misty hills of Kaattukunnu, Mlaathi Chedathi and Peeyoos struggle to survive unforeseen challenges, as the chronicles of Kuriyachan — a multifaceted businessman and outlaw — blur the line between myth, longing, and reckoning, revealing that he forever rules the hills.
