Director K Chandru is making a comeback with Revolver Rita, his first project after Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham (2013). The film’s release date, initially set for 27 August 2025, has been shifted to 28 November 2025, as confirmed by the makers on Sunday. This new timing positions the movie for a strong theatrical window during the festive season.
The comedy‑action drama features Keerthy Suresh in the lead role, supported by Radikaa Sarathkumar, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, Sendrayan, and veteran stunt choreographer Super Subbarayan. The technical crew includes cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan B, editor Praveen K L, and art director Vinoth Rajkumar. Production is handled by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy under Passion Studios and The Route, with Aishwarya Suresh serving as creative producer.
Keerthy Suresh had four releases in the previous year, Siren, Raghu Thatha, Baby John (Hindi), and a voice role as Bujji in Kalki 2898 AD. Revolver Rita marks her first Tamil release of 2025, apart from a lone Telugu OTT film Uppu Kappurambu directed by Ani IV Sasi, which also stars Suhas, Babu Mohan, Shatru, Talluri Rameswari, and Subhalekha Sudhakar.
Following its theatrical run, the film will stream on Netflix, giving fans an OTT option after the cinema window. The shift to a November release aims to capitalize on holiday audiences and maximize box‑office potential.
