Rukmini Vasanth Calls Prashanth Neel a Genius

Rukmini Vasanth’s witty Instagram reply has ignited a firestorm of speculation across social media. During an interactive session, a fan asked the “Kantara: Chapter 1” star to describe filmmaker Prashanth Neel in one word. Rukmini didn’t hesitate she typed “Genius.” That single word set the comment section ablaze, fuelling rumors that she could be the female lead opposite NTR in the upcoming #NTRNeel film.

When another fan bluntly queried, “Are you part of NTR and Prashanth Neel’s film?” she responded with a playful, “Aha, the worst kept secret of the season, isn’t it? I think everyone already knows more than I’m allowed to say!”  Although Rukmini stopped short of an official confirmation, her cryptic hint has turned the buzz into a full‑blown frenzy.

The project, tentatively titled #NTRNeel, is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts. The production house recently shared a makeover picture of Jr NTR and wrote, “The beast mode is about to ignite again. #NTRNEEL next schedule begins soon.”

The film is slated for a grand pan‑Indian release on June 25, 2026, with versions in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. It will be jointly bankrolled by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju, promising a cinematic spectacle on an epic scale.  With shooting schedule set to commence shortly at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
