Murugadoss creates another controversy with Madharaasi.Sivakarthikeyan is getting ready to thrill movie lovers with his film Madharaasi. The film directed by Murgadoss is racing for a grand release on 5 Sep 2025.

Even  as the film is racing for a grand release, the film's title is landing in a huge controversy. South people are furious with Murugadoss and the title of the film. If one observes the Madharaasi poster, it consists of all southern states. People are questioning that they don't want to be called or still recognised or branded as Madharaasi.

It is known that for many decades North Indians used to brand Telugu, Malayalam, Karnataka and others as Madharaasis equating them to Tamilians.

It was left to Sr NTR to stoke the Telugu Pride and put the Andhra Pradesh (United) on the world map. He opposed people branding entire South as Madharaasis. Now Telugu people are opposing the title of Madharaasi by Murugadoss.
