Kamal Haasan rejected Farah Khan Mai Hoon Na. Farah Khan shot to fame as a choreographer and then in 2004 made her debut as director Mai Hoon Na.

The role was that of the antagonist who opposed Major Ram (played by SRK) in the film’s Indo-Pak peace mission storyline. This role eventually went to Suniel Shetty. The actor's performance was well-received and became one of the highlights of the film.

Shruti Haasan is now playing a key role in Rajinikanth's upcoming film Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is releasing on 14 Aug 2025.
