In the viral clip, Arjun is seen approaching the security checkpoint at the airport. As part of standard procedure, he handed over his ID to the CISF personnel. The officer then requested him to briefly remove his face mask to confirm his identity.

While the video is only 14 seconds long and does not clearly capture the entire exchange, it shows Arjun exchanging a few words with the security officer. The unclear visuals have led to divided opinions online.

Here is how netizens reacted.

One user wrote, "Airport screening rules are for everyone.. not just common passengers. Security is the same for celebrities, VIPs, and the public. If someone refuses to properly reveal their face during security checks, it’s not just about privacy ,it could pose a threat to national safety. Being famous doesn’t mean bypassing rules. In fact, setting the right example is part of their responsibility."

“Just show your full face man, why be so egoistic? Sadly these people think themselves as Gods cause of stupid fans and don’t care to follow protocols," wrote one netizen, while another one commented, “The CISF guy was 100% within his right to ask the actor to show his face." A third comment read, “The general public reveres and worships them. Of course they’re gonna think everyone else is beneath them." Another netizen wrote, “Pushpa jhuk gaya lol," while referencing his line from the film Pushpa, while another one commented, “Idhar jhukna padega."

One user commented, "It’s just a 14-second video. Can’t really say what happened or judge someone’s intent."

Another added, "He might’ve just been asking something or clarifying. There’s no clear sign of argument or refusal, people are just overanalysing."

Some tried to strike a balanced note, emphasising the importance of rules writing, “Yep, rules shouldn’t be twisted for anyone."
