Hombale Films created a sensation with Mahavatar Narasimha, the animation film which is going strong at the box office.
The film entered into Rs 100crs club and now, the makers came up with an interesting update on the next in the series, Mahavatar Parshuram.
Hombale Films' co-founder Chaluve Gowda speaking to scribes shared "This is just the beginning. 'Mahavatar Parshuram' has already begun." On the success of Mahavatar Narasimha, he said "We’re absolutely overwhelmed and humbled by the response. It's incredibly heartening to see audiences - young and old - embrace 'Mahavatar Narsimha' with such passion. When we began this journey with Director Ashwin Kumar and Kleem [Productions], we knew we were attempting something bold and different, but the love pouring in from across the country and even internationally has exceeded all our expectations."
On the film entering into Rs 100crs club, he said "That milestone is a testament to the fact that Indian audiences are ready for stories told in new ways - especially when rooted in our own culture and mythology. For a long time, animated films were seen as niche or only for children, but 'Mahavatar Narsimha' has helped shift that narrative. It shows that animation, when treated with the same cinematic ambition and emotional depth as live-action, can break boundaries."
He continued "The audience’s response has infused the entire team with renewed energy and responsibility. We now carry with us not just our vision, but also the expectations and trust of millions. That motivates us to go even deeper with the storytelling, push the boundaries of animation quality, and make sure every instalment in the franchise builds on what Mahavatar Narasimha has begun."
