Shankar hellbent on Bharateeyudu 3. When Shankar and Kamal Haasan teamed for Bharateeyudu 2 everyone got excited. This is because people couldn't forget the sensation Bharateeyudu which highlighted the deep rooted corruption in Indian system.

However, the film sequel which released amidst huge expectations turned out to be a complete disaster. It is known that Bharateeyudu 3 is also on the anvil and few fans are waiting for it to release. This is because Bharateeyudu 2 ended with the lead to the third part which generated immense interest.

However, the result of the second part put dark clouds on it and rumours spread that the makers will release the film directly on OTT. But inside talk is Shankar is hell-bent on releasing the film in theatres.. Rumours are on that the third part will hit the screens by this year end.

The film starred  Siddharth, S. J. Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Nedumudi Venu, Delhi Ganesh, Manobala, Jagan, Kalidas Jayaram (in a cameo) and Gulshan Grover in key roles.
