Simbu on playing feminine role in STR50

Kollywood star Simbu is known for his versatile and impactful performances. He is playing a powerful role in Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam's Thug Life.

He is also starring in his next under the direction of Desingh Periyasamy. Simbu himself is bankrolling the project. Speaking to scribes, he said his character in the film will have feminine traits. Sharing further, he said  “Yes, there’s a role with feminine elements in the film. We even discussed it with Kamal Haasan to understand how to approach it. Only when an actor gets something different like this can he show his true calibre.”

On producing the film in his own banner, Atman Cine Arts, he shared  “I feel producing myself is better. I can create the kind of cinema we imagine without compromises.”

Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director while Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer and Praveen is the editor.
