Riteish Deshmukh Raja Shivaji first poster out. Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh is starring and helming the film titled Raja Shivaji. Today  the makers released the partial glimpse of Ritesh Deshmukh.

Abhishek Bachchan sharing the poster posted "privileged and honoured to present a cinematic tribute to India's legendary warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (sic)."The poster showed Deshmukh with swords in a war zone, while his face remained partly hidden

The film stars  Sanjay Dutt, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Amole Gupte, and Genelia in key roles and is up for release on 1 May  2026. The film is releasing in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

The film highlights the rise of young Shivaji Bhonsale, who challenged the might of established empires to found the Maratha kingdom and lay the groundwork for “Swarajya” (self-rule) during a turbulent period of Indian history.
