In the midst of all this opposition parties like Congress though pledging support to the Indian government started mocking PM Modi on social media like 'Gayab poster', ' PM Modi escaped and made people scapegoat despite having the intel info on terror strike' and India has only Sulti bombs.

According to the latest, Indian defence forces launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan and destroyed 9 terror sites.

Operation Sindoor name has its significance and it was named Sindoor as terrorists targeted newly wed and women and killed their husbands.

Knowing the Operation Sindoor people started celebrating across the country.

Operation Sindoor was conducted in a coordination between Army, Navy and Airforce.

According to senior officials, the two biggest strikes were conducted in JeM stronghold Bahawalpur and Muridke, killing an estimated 25–30 terrorists at each site. In Muridke, the target was Masjid wa Markaz Taiba, the LeT's nerve centre and ideological headquarters, long considered the "terror nursery" of Pakistan.

It is coming out that more than 80 terrorists were killed in the operation.

Defence Ministry shared "A little while ago, the Indian armed forces launched 'Operation Sindoor' hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed,"

Terror headquarters of banned Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen were targeted under 'Operation Sindoor' with IAF carrying out night raids on the nine hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, officials said here on Wednesday.

Among the targets hit in a precise operation were Markaz Subhan Allah at Bahawalpur, Sarjal at Tehra Kalan, Markaz Abbas in Kotli and Syedna Bilal camp in Muzaffarabad (all of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group).

Markaz Taiba at Murdike, Markaz Ahle Hadith at Barnala and Shwawai Nalla camp at Muzaffarabad (all of banned Lashkar-e-Taiba) and Makaz Raheel Shahid in Kotli and Mehmoona Joya in Sialkot (camps and training centres of banned Hizbul Mujahideen were targeted.Out of the nine targets chosen by India, four were in Pakistan and the remaining five were in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir.

Here's a list of the nine targets.

Bahawalpur, located around 100 Km from the International Boundary. It is the headquarters of the JeM.

Muridke, located 30 km from the border opposite Samba. It is an LeT camp.

Gulpur, 35 km from LoC in Poonch-Rajouri.

LeT camp in Sawai, 30 km inside POK, Tangdhar Sector.

Bilal Camp, a JeM launchpad.

LeT Kotli camp, 15 km from LoC opposite Rajouri.

Barnala camp, 10 km from LoC opposite Rajouri.

Sarjal camp, JeM camp about 8 km from IB opposite Samba-Kathua.

Mehmoona camp, 15 km from IB, near Sialkot, HM training camp.
