Craze for 'Raktha Charitra' fading off

The kind of enthusiasm and interest Ramgopal Varma generates with his movies initially with the first clap or muhurath will either fade off with time gradually or will have a sudden death watching at the output after the release. Hopefully ‘Raktha Charitra’ doesn’t fall under any of this category yet the time it is eating up for release isn’t a positive factor for now.

Audio of the movie got appreciations from critics and this would be the best time for Varma to announce his release date before the craze starts to fade off. Busy with ‘Appalraju’ and ‘Bezwada Rowdeelu;’ none knows when is Ramgopal Varma planning for the release and put full stop for the controversies.

If media and interesting trailers are playing the key role in getting the necessary boost up for ‘Raktha Charitra;’ it is the timing of release which may decide Varma’s big budget fate. With ‘Khaleja’ and ‘Brindavanam’ coming in next two weeks and Venkatesh along with Nagarjuna waiting in the queue for next month, Varma may not be able to get that festival advantage for a movie which doesn’t have Telugu star power.

Vivek Oberoi, a flop star of Bollywood and Suriya, a mass star of Kollywood are not the genuine crowd pullers in Telugu industry while the photo of Ramgopal Varma and controversial subject is the only grace. Let us hope that, ‘Raktha Charitra’ gets into theatres before Varma’s craze starts to fade off though his attempts to remain in media attention with ‘Appalraju’ and ‘Bezwada Rowdeelu’ still in the swing.
