Sriranga Neethulu (2024): What's Behind

Talented actors Suhas, Viraj Ashwin, and Karthik Rathnam are set to captivate audiences with their upcoming film Sriranga Neethulu. Scheduled for release on April 11, 2024, this movie promises to be an exciting and engaging cinematic experience. Let's eagerly await its release and see how it resonates with viewers.

Sriranga Neethulu (2024): Movie: Story Review

Sriranga Neethulu narrates the story of three young individuals from diverse backgrounds and how they navigate through the challenges that life throws at them. Shiva(Suhas), a technician at an Electronic Company, who harbors a deep desire to see his flexie alongside the local politician in his area, willing to go to great lengths to achieve his aspiration.

On the other hand, Aishwarya (Ruhani Sharma), a beautiful and affluent girl, is romantically involved with the charming Varun (Viraj Ashwin). However, she finds herself in a predicament when she suspects she might be pregnant and struggles to reveal her feelings to her parents.

Karthik (Karthik Rathnam) is depicted as living in his own world, indulging in smoking, drinking, and even growing ganja plants, oblivious to the potential repercussions. The film delves into the journey of these characters, exploring where their paths lead and what the future holds for them and their loved ones.

Suhas' Sriranga Neethulu Movie: Artists Review

Suhas effortlessly embodies his character, slipping into the role with ease. The character seems tailor-made for him, and he delivers the right expressions and emotions, adding depth to his portrayal.

Viraj Ashwin aptly portrays the role of a handsome young man who encourages his lover to disclose their relationship to her parents.

Ruhani Sharma delivers a nuanced performance, portraying a character filled with fear, pain, and anger, especially as she grapples with her suspicions about her pregnancy.

Karthik Rathnam, while playing a typical role, doesn't have much to do apart from indulging in boozing and smoking, limiting the depth of his character.

Other actors like Vasu Inturi, Muralidhar Goud, Jeevan Kumar, Inturi Vasu, and Avasarala Srinivas perform according to the demands of their roles, adding to the overall narrative of the film.

Viraj Ashwin's Sriranga Neethulu: Technicians Review

Sriranga Neethulu, penned and directed by Praveen Kumar, explores the lives of three individuals and the consequences of their actions. Narrated through the perspective of Tanikella Bharani's character, the film aims to deliver a message about societal acceptance and forgiveness.

While  the film's message about second chances is commendable, the execution falls short. The narrative feels predictable and lacks the emotional depth needed to truly engage the audience. The dialogues often feel clichéd, and the overall screenplay fails to build intrigue or suspense.

The repetitive nature of certain scenes, diminishes their impact and tests the viewers' patience. The lack of emotional connection with the characters further hinders the film's ability to resonate with the audience.

The  editing by Shashank Vupputiri disrupts the flow of the narrative and fails to effectively build tension. Tijo Tomy's cinematography, while adequate, lacks the visual flair that could have elevated the storytelling. Similarly, Ajay Arasada's background score and Harshavardhan Rameshwar's music fail to leave a lasting impression.

Sriranga Neethulu: Advantages

  • Message

Sriranga Neethulu: Disadvantages

  • Predictable Plot
  • Missing Emotions

Sriranga Neethulu (2024) Telugu Movie: Rating  Analysis

Altogether, Sriranga Neethulu, starring Suhas and directed by Praveen Kumar, unfortunately, falls short of expectations, proving to be a test of patience for viewers. Despite the director's attempt to convey a message to society, the film's lackluster story, screenplay, and direction fail to effectively communicate this intention. It makes one wonder how the makers proceeded with the project after reviewing the script. Taking all these aspects into consideration, Cinejosh gives Sriranga Neethulu a rating of 2.25.
