Artists, Technicians Review

Director Chandoo Mondeti is known for his thriller stories and he came with a thriller web series Bloody Mary with Nivetha Pethuraj in the lead. Chandoo Mondeti came with a simple but interesting story sticking to the main plot without deviating though there was ample scope to do it. Chandoo Mondeti showed that a woman can overcome different and difficult situations without the help of anyone with her intelligence. Prashant Kumar Dimmala showed the female lead as a strong character but failed to come up with interesting and thrilling elements which would have taken the story to another level.

Nivetha Pethuraj got a good role and opportunity to show her talent. Nivetha performed well in her role and did justice with attractive emotions and expressions. Kireeti Damaraju and Rajkumar Kasireddy performed well and impressed with their characters. Rajkumar entertained with his situational comedy. Ajay, Brahmaji performed well in the role tailormade for them. Mirchi Hemanth, Pammi Sai appeared in a small role and made his presence felt.

Karthik Ghattamaneni's cinematography is clean and neat. He reflected the mood of the narration and the story. Kaala Bhairava gave a unique touch to the music using the English song in the film. His background music took viewers into the story giving an appealing feel. Viplav Nyshadham's editing is ok but could have been better as there are drags in the narration. Production values are ok.

Rating Analysis

Chandoo Mondeti and Nivetha Pethuraj's web series Bloody Mary generated immense interest. Chandoo Mondeti started the narration in a thrilling manner and Nivetha Pethuraj complimented the plot with a good performance. However, after the initial start, the thrills in the story fizzle out. Considering all these elements, CJ goes with a 2.25 rating for Bloody Mary.
