King Nagarjuna's nephew Sumanth is known for his feel good entertainers. He is coming to win the hearts of all with his upcoming film Anaganaga which is streaming on ETV Win. Let us find out whether Sumanth is able to endear to all with Anaganaga.
Anaganaga story is all about an enthusiastic teacher who tries to implement innovative methods in teaching and how he deals with the consequences.
School teacher Vyas (Sumanth) implements innovative and creative methods in teaching in the school much against the wishes of the management.
Where this leads to and how Principal Bhagi (Kajal Chowdhary) reacts and the impact on the school children including their son Ram form the rest of the narration.
Sumanth comes up with an impressive performance in the role of the teacher who craves for the overall development of the students turning teaching bereft of any pressure.
He showed variations in his expressions and emotions according to the situation and intensity. He emoted well and delivered dialogues with good feel.
Kajal Chowdhary performed well despite being a new comer. The scenes featuring Sumanth, Kajal stands out. Viharsh who played the role of the school kid impresses with his performance.
Avasarala Srinivas is good in the role of strict teacher. He is fine and showed good impact as a teacher and parent and how this rocks his family life.
Others like Anu Hasan, Rakesh Rachakonda, B.V.S. Ravi, Kaumudi Nemani performed well.
Anaganaga story is provided by Sunny Sanjay. He came up with an interesting and relatable story. Though many such films came earlier, he presented it in an impressive manner.
The first half highlights the current educational system, competitive world and the second half is more info Emotional elements. He narrated the entire story in the first half itself and it all boils down as to what the director tells in the second half. The climax is touching and emotional after the routine and monotonous scenes.
But the slow narration and predictable screenplay which is without any twists diluted the film's essence. He however highlighted the narration with good emotional scenes involving parents, teachers and students. For all the efforts, the film turns out to be average.
A little fine-tuning of the story and screenplay could have helped the film. Dialogues are good and impactful.
The music of Chandu Ravi is soulful and soothing and takes viewers into the story. Good background music elevated the scenes touching the hearts of all.
The Cinematography of Pawan Kumar is beautiful and realistic. He showed the school scenes in a natural manner connecting chords with the viewers.
Venkatesh Chundari's editing is ok but could have been far better as there are drags that slowed the pace of the narration. Production values are good.
Altogether, Anaganaga turns out to be a decent educational entertainer. Sumanth came up with an impactful performance and director Sunny Sanjay did a decent job. Few more twists and turns and racy screenplay would have helped the film's final result when more. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.5 rating for Anaganaga.
