The Anti Corruption Bureau (Acb) sleuths on Friday conducted raids on three officials across the state and unearthed huge assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.

According to Acb sources, the officials conducted raids on Gopal Rao, Zonal Manager, Andhra Pradesh Industrial infrastructure Corporation, Hyderabad, house at Chaitanyapuri Colony and seized assets worth Rs 10 crore from him.

The officials said the zonal manager also owns two houses and four flats in Hyderabad and a farmland in Rangareddy district.

The Acb officials also found huge amount of gold jewellery from his house in the raids. The sleuths were still continuing the searches and were yet to open his bank lockers. The raids were conducted following complaints that he amassed huge wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.

In the raids conducted on the houses of D Narayana Rao, Project Director, District Water Management Agency (DWMA) in Srikakulam, the officials unearthed assets worth Rs 50 lakh.

The officials conducted simultaneous raids on his house in Srikakulam and Kondamulagalam in Ranasthalam mandalam. Searches are still going on at the time of filing the report.

Assets worth Rs 50 lakh was unearthed during the raids conducted on the house of Satyanarayana, an Assistant Engineer in Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation at Amudalavalasa in Srikakulam district.The officials have registered a case against the officials under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
