The sensational kidnap and murder of 10 year old girl Naga Vaishnavi on January 30 has stirred the state. Finally when the accused Morla Srinivasa Rao, Jagadeesh and conspirator Pandi Venkatrao Goud are been help by police for investigation, now the case has struck up in a situation where there seems to be no substantial evidences for Police and Judiciary for punishing these deadly criminals.

The case is still clouded in mystery as AP Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report failing to establish the identity of the dead Naga Vaishnavi. Police said the forensic experts could not obtain and match DNA of the victim from the skeletal bones and ash after the chemical analysis. These skeletal bones were charred in furnace beyond recognition and unfit for super imposition, the cops said in the charge sheet which is leading to speculations that the cops were out to shield the accused.

With the Supreme Court ruling that no NARCO or Brain Mapping tests report be taken as evidence in courts, now the last hopes of punishing the accused looks remote. Although the two accused had confessed to the crime during the investigation but there is every likelihood that they would be changing their stance during the trial in the court.

That’s the sorry state of affairs running in our state and our country folks.
