When the supposed guardians of the court err on carrying out their duties, the state of affairs will fast deteroriate. Such was the case at the High Court when lawyers, policemen and the general public were dumbstruck at a commotion created by  a cop at the court precincts  on Friday.

According to eyewitnesses, Gopal Rao, an STF constable created a ruckus inside the court premises under the influence of alcohol.

The constable even abused his superiors and when his fellow constables tried to calm him down he used vulgar language and jostled with them, the sources observed.

Gopal Rao was finally subdued by his colleagues and taken to Osmania General Hospital where he was detoxified.

According to police sources  a stern  action will be taken against Gopal Rao, but  when reports  last  came no such thing  has been initiated agaisnt  him.
