Decks have been cleared for another flyover for the city. The new flyover will come up from Benz Circle to NTR circle on the Bandar Road.

Works on road extension have been completed. The civic corporation has to acquire a small portion of land for drainage works belonging to a newspaper. Almost all the building owners from Benz Circle to NTR Circle gave letters of consent to the Corporation. Erstwhile municipal commissioner Natarajan Gulzar had issued notices to the building owners to extend the road by 120 feet from the proposed flyover site. Most of the land owners gave consent letters and works on the side drains have been completed except at one or two places.
