Santhakumaran Sreesanth, the pace bowler for Indian cricket team from Kerala has been  tested positive for swine flu. Sreesanth was down with fever for the last four days, missed the first India-Sri Lanka Twenty20 international in Nagpur on Wednesday.

Sreesanth was admitted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, on December 10 at 11.30 p.m. and was seen by the hospital physicians prior to admission. Since he had persistent symptoms of cough, fever and body-ache, his throat swab was sent for H1N1 testing. The report came this evening and was positive. He has been put on Tamiflu medications since.

Sources added, Sreesanth will remain in the hospital for a day or two. He is recovering well and all his vital parameters are normal.
