Heavy rain forecast for Nellore and adjoining areas

Hyderabad,Oct 29: The North-East Monsoon, which provides heavy rainfall to Tamil Nadu and  south  coast of Andhra Pradesh , has commenced  according to  the Meteorological department reports  here on Thursday.“North-east monsoon Rains commenced over Tamil Nadu and adjoining parts of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. It has been active over Coastal Tamil Nadu,” the Met office said.

Rains had lashed  districts  of  Kurnool, Chittoor  and  Nellore with  some streets remaining inundated. Rains continued till late night.Heavy Rains of 10 Cms. to 15 Cms is expected in  the  southern coastal of Andhra Pradesh. Under  the  influence of these  monsoon winds the interiorparts of Rayalaseema  and  Telangana  region  may  light   showers.
