Hyderabad,Oct 23: The visit of Central teams to assess the damage caused by recent Floods has been rescheduled.According to the revised schedule the teams will visit the state in  the first week of November instead of October 24 as announced earlier.According to a press release issued by the information department, two Central teams, consisting of eight members each, will visit the State in November to assess the damage caused by the recent Floods and also the drought-hit mandals in the State.Agricutural and Cooperative Department Joint Secretary Upma Choudhary would visit the 981 drought-hit mandals to assess the damage.

Another central team, headed by Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs Deepthi Villas, would visit the state to assess the destruction caused by the recent Floods in the districts of Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar, Krishna, Guntur and Nalgonda.The District Collectors and revenue officials would assist the central teams. The Secretary (Disaster Management) and the Chief Secretary of the State would coordinate with the teams at the state headquarters.
