Doctors at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences on Thursday said that though he is still ‘critical yet stable’ and they are satisfied with his response to medication. The health bulletin issued by SSSIHMS Director AN Safaya said that the health of the spiritual leader is the same as it was on Wednesday evening. Dr Safaya said that “Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s vital parameters are near normal. These include functional indices of vital systems like heart rate, blood pressure, blood bio-chemistry and blood gas saturation values," in the bulletin.

Dr Safaya added that the “Sai Baba continues to be on ventilator to assist his lungs and to allow the secretions to be sucked out.” The bulletin added that the dialysis process has been reduced further and the godman’s level of consciousness continues to show improvement.
