Dr Sabharwal said that motorcycle-borne cameramen will be used to relay live pictures to Mobile Control Centre which ensures better supervision and deployment of force, using remote controlled cameras at height of 20 - 30 meters using fire department crane “BRONTO”.

The DCP said that a format has been designed and record sheets printed for each crane which will give data of number, date and specific time of immersion of idols being performed by each crane, which will assist in planning minute Law and Order arrangements for Ganesh Visarjan in the coming years.

He added once it is known what time and on which date the immersion is higher, planning for manpower deployment can be done in a better manner.
