Rao Bahadur (2026) Movie: Artists Review
Satyadev put in lot of effort for his role. He is seen in different outfits, mannerisms and transformed his body language accordingly as per the timeline in the narration. He modulated his dialogue delivery according to the situation and impressed with his dialogue delivery. He showed good expressions and emotions according to the situation. This is best performance in all his films till now and even the nay Sayers will concur.
Deepa Thomas who played the female lead did justice to it. She got limited screen presence but came up with energetic performance. She got good dialogues and looked bubbly and lively on screen. She expressed with her eyes only to mesmerize all.
Vikas Muppala is good in the role of the protagonist's friend. He looked natural and realistic with his performance driving the story forward. He made an impression with his dialogues and natural performance.
Bala Parasar is good in the role of the maid. She entertained all not only with her dialogue delivery but also with her humour.
Others like Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, Kunal Kaushik, Master Kiran performed according to their roles.
Rao Bahadur (2026) Movie: Technicians Review
Rao Bahadur story is opened by Venkat Maha. Venkat Maha tried to thrill people with a different kind of psychological thriller. He starts the narration on an interesting note and Satyadev's introduction and the follow-up scenes increases curiosity levels.
However from then on the pace of the narration tests the patience of the movie lovers. There are many scenes and viewers will be left wondering what's going on and where the story is heading and when the first half ends, it comes as a breather for the people.
The narration and pace picks up a little bit in the second half though the story progresses no where. The climax twist comes as a relief. Even after the twist, the proceedings are dragged before the film ends making viewers heave a sigh of relief.
Smaran Sai's music offered nothing much to rave about. The tunes are not catchy and are not even shot on an appealing manner. However, he made up for it, with his captivating background score. It elevated the mood of the story and proceedings.
The cinematography of Karthik Parmar used the colour combinations, grading and camera angles to show the period backdrop in a natural and realistic way.
Venkat Maha who handled the editing failed in this aspect. He left many unnecessary scenes unattended and this slowed the pace of the film drastically in the first half testing the patience of all. Dialogues are just ok. Production values are good.
Rao Bahadur Movie: Advantages

Rao Bahadur (2026) Movie: Rating Analysis
Altogether, Rao Bahadur turns out to be patient testing psychological thriller. Satyadev showed faith in Venkat Maha's direction and gave it all for the role. Venkat Maha seems to have penned the story after deciding to the climax twist. This impacted the overall output to a point of no return.
The idea turned out to be interesting but he failed with his story. The writing turned out to be weak, screenplay didn't come with anything special and there is much to talk about the direction which is directionless. A little reworking on the script by adding strong emotions, witty one-liners, doing away with preachy elements and having more racy screenplay would have changed the result. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.25 rating for Rao Bahadur.
