Prabhas committed a grave blunder by signing for Adipurush.?

When Prabhas teamed up with Om Raut, excitement increased as it turned out to be Prabhas' straight film in Bollywood and expectations soared in Tollywood as the film is a mythological entertainer in Hindu epic Ramayana. Movie lovers from across the country waited eagerly for the film's first look and many even started trolling the makers for the delay.

Many came to the firm belief when Om Raut won the best director award for his film Tanhaji. Even political parties like TRS accused the makers of promoting BJP's Hindutva agenda. In between few of them have taken objection to the casting of Saif Ali Khan, a Muslim in the role of Rawan.

Finally, the teaser poster and teaser was released amidst huge expectations on the eve of Dasara with much fan fare. The teaser poster itself increased scares over the first look of Prabhas and the teaser turned all their fears true. The teaser turned out to be the cheap copy of animation and video games like temple run and much to the shock of all, the lead characters are shown in animation manner making the mockery of Hindu epic Ramayana. Ram, Lakshman, Hanuman, Ravan looked like caricatures.

Following this, many Hindu organisations and Swamijis called for the boycott of the Adi Purush. Some are saying Prabhas committed a grave blunder by signing the project. His look didn't inspire any confidence, many are angrily trolling and questioning how Prabhas agreed to go with this look. Prabhas is seen sporting a moustache and unlike other stars who earlier immortalised the roles, didn't have a blue shade. Tollywood is renowned for making many evergreen classics on Ramayana and NTR, Shobhan Babu, Harnath and others made a lasting impression. Even Arun Govil who starred in Ramayan serial, lived in the hearts of movie lovers.

It seems Prabhas didn't do his homework right and blindly signed the project as it is a Bollywood project. Prabhas ' uncle Krishnam Raju starred in many mythological roles and had Prabhas sought his advice, he would have guided him properly. Adi Purush seems to be Prabhas' grave blunder and fans are praying that it should not turn out to be a black mark in his career.
