Why Teachers' Kids Not in Govt Schools? Counter Is Here

As is known, AP government school Teachers have taken the 'Reverse PRC' movement to the next level with their aggressive protests against the government. The government was merely nonplussed with the Teachers' protests.

Out of mayhem, the AP deputy CM Narayana Swamy takes a jibe at the Teachers. He asked an age old question, "Why are Teachers not sending their children to government schools?".

Yes, the minister's question is quite thought provoking. Sending to the government schools, the Teachers can save lakhs of rupees. In such a case, why are Teachers behaving foolishly by sending their kids to private schools for education?

Firstly, let's counter the minister.

* Dear minister! Have you sent your children to the government schools? Are you sending your grandsons to the same schools?

* Why are you taking treatment in private hospitals instead of the government hospitals? Why don't you even prefer Andhra hospitals for treatment and rush to Hyderabad for medical treatment?

And now, let's discuss why Teachers are not sending their children to the government schools.

* In comparison, a government school teacher is more qualified and experienced than a private school teacher. Obviously, a government school student is supposed to perform better than a private school student. But then, nothing of that sort is happening. Why?

* In fact, a government school teacher goes to school with a lot of aspirations to deliver his best to the students. Sadly, he is not being allowed to perform his fullest.

* Firstly, the teacher-pupil ratio is not justified in a government school. Every section of a government school has more than 60 children unlike a private school's section that has either 20 or 30 per section. Naturally, GS Teachers cannot pay individual attention in the classroom.

* The AP government treats schools as votebanks (of course, it's completely a misconception which is soon realized). As such, Teachers are made the promoters of the government schemes.

* Today, a teacher of a GS has to serve midday meals, has to distribute chikkies, has to capture toilet photos, has to pursue sanitation works, has to distribute school uniforms, has to take measurements of shoes and has to make so many uploads in various apps. Then, where does he find time to teach the students?

* If any new programme is introduced in the education department, an experiment is done on the GS students which further hampers the right way of the teaching-learning process.

BOTTOM-LINE: A private school teacher is allowed just teaching. If the same is ensured to the government schools, private schools will disappear right away.
