Driving Licence remake: Back on the radar?

Malayalam film Driving Licence turned out to be a huge hit sometime back. Since then rumors floated that the film would be remade in Tollywood. Ram Charan who loved the film acquired the remake rights. From then on speculations increased that the film would be a multi starrer and Pawan Kalyan will play an important role and Ram Charan will do the other role.

Later reports came that Raviteja will do the role and Ram Charan will be doing the other role. But then it came out that Ram Charan felt that Pawan's image doesn't suit the role. He is trying to do the remake with a top star hero and he is unable to concentrate on the remake. As such he is planning to give the remake rights to Allu Aravind's Geetha Arts.

Inside talk is Allu Aravind feels that Venkatesh will suit the role of the RTO officer aptly. Plans are on to cast either Ram Charan and Allu Arjun in the other role. Venkatesh who entertained with Narappa and Drushyam 2 is busy with F3. He is set to star in the direction of Tharun Bhaskar. However, Venky feels that he need not take a risk with the new director when he is scoring decent hits. It has to be seen what's going on in Venkatesh's mind.
