Classical dancer Sandhya Raju's Natyam directed by Revanth Korukonda got panned by the reviewers and critics alike. Revanth Korukonda couple of days back made shocking allegations against the film's PROs accusing them of cheating and killing the film in their known websites with negative reviews and articles even after taking huge bucks from them.

However, Natyam got a rare honor when it became the only film from Tollywood to get selected for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which will be held in a hybrid format -- virtual and physical -- from November 20 to 28. Natyam got selected under Indian Panorama segment films for the year 2021.

Renowned Kannada filmmaker SV Rajendra Singh Babu who headed the Features Films Jury shortlisted 25 films from various languages and Natyam happens to be the only Telugu film. Earlier Vice President Venkaiah Naidu showered praises on Natyam after watching the film at a special screening. Except for these two which came as a solace, the filmmakers had very little to cheer about Natyam
