Super Star Rajinikanth yesterday rushed to hospital after he complained of giddiness and headache. He was admitted in ICU in Kavery Hospital, Chennai. It was revealed yesterday that he suffered from“Necrosis caused due to inadequate blood supply to the affected area. It may be caused by artery blockages, rupture, mechanical compression, or vasoconstriction.” It is an infarction, a condition caused by obstruction of the blood supply to an organ or region of tissue, typically by a thrombus or embolus. Yesterday he also revealed that he watched his upcoming film Annathe along with his family members and his grandchildren liked his performance a lot.

According to the latest Rajinikanth underwent a surgical procedure. Dr Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder, and Executive Director, of Kauvery Hospital, released the statement after the surgery. Here is the statement.

“Mr Rajinikanth was admitted in Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai yesterday (28th Oct 2021) following an episode of giddiness. He was thoroughly evaluated by the expert panel of doctors and was advised to undergo Carotid Artery revascularization.

The procedure was performed successfully today (29. Oct 2021) and he is recovering well. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital after few days.
