Super Star Rajinikanth enjoys a huge fan following and he is getting ready to thrill all his movie lovers with his upcoming entertainer Annathe directed by Shiva. The film is slated for a grand release on November 4, 2021 offering an explosive Diwali treat.

Fans are expecting Rajinikanth to announce his next projects. However, with him flying to the US in a secret manner, rumors about his health intensified. It is known that Rajini had a kidney transplant in 2016 and from then on meeting doctors for regular checkups. He went to the US for a regular checkup but others say his health condition deteriorated.

Rumors are spreading thick and fast that Annathe would be Rajini's last film and he is considering permanent retirement from films. In the meantime, inside talk is Rajinikanth is planning to another film and that could be the final one. Sources say many young directors narrated stories to Rajinikanth and those include his daughter Soundarya.

With Soundarya readying script for Rajinikanth, speculation is on as to who could be the director. Sources say Rajini is planning to retire from films after starring in his daughter Soundarya's director. Soundarya earlier directed her dad Rajinikanth in an animation film titled Kochadaiyan.
