Shakuntalam in action mode

Gunasekhar's mythological romantic entertainer Shakuntalam captured the imagination of all. According to the latest, the makers resumed shooting. Currently shooting is underway in RFC, Hyderabad.

The makers are canning important scenes on Samantha and Malayalam star Dev Mohan. Stunt choreographer Salmon Raj is choreographing action scenes involving Samantha and Dev Mohan. Sources reveal that the filmmakers are taking due care in making everyone in the sets wear masks compulsorily. Samantha is playing the role of Shakuntala and Dev Mohan is playing the role of King Dushyant. Sources say Gunasekhar is planning to cast either Allu Arjun's son or NTR's son in the role of young Bharat, son of Shakuntala and Dushyant.

Shakuntalam is based on Adi Parwa in Mahabharat and on the work of Kalidas' Abhignana Shakuntalam. Mani Sharma is scoring music for the film produced on the Dil Raju Promotions banner and Gunaa Team Works.
