Pawan's Defeat: 2 Years for AP People's Blunder

23 May, 2019. The results of general polls in AP were out. Political analysts were not very much surprised with the victory of the YSRCP and the defeat of the TDP as they had kept on analysing the possible results for the past couple of months.

However, Janasena party's performance and the party chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan's defeat in both the constituencies Bheemavaram and Gajuwaka made Jana Sainiks fall into a state of deep shocker. The psephologists and the critics were also surprised with Pawan Kalyan's defeat.

Of course, there were several factors connected to Pawan Kalyan's defeat. Both the TDP and the YCP came to an internal understanding to defeat Pawan Kalyan. On the other hand, Rs.200 crores were spent by the YCP in Bheemavaram to defeat Pawan Kalyan

However, the million dollar question is why didn't people prefer Janasena to cast their votes? Perhaps, people feel the following qualifications are needed for a party and its chief to get the victory.

* Pawan Kalyan should have been either a Kamma or Reddy. People, here, in AP accustommed to do slavery to both the parties.

* A politician must have a criminal background. If he has a history of going to jail, that would be the biggest advantage and makes the politician win elections like a cakewalk.

* A party chief must have lakhs of crores properties. But then, Pawan Kalyan has just hundreds of crores hard earning money and distributed some of it through his philanthropic activities. AP people love to cast their votes to greedy people but not kind hearted people.

Above analysis of voters attitude is given upto 2019. Will they make sure their mind sets are changed at least for the next general elections? Evidently, most of the leaders and the Jana Sainiks didn't defect to other parties. That's really a positive gesture of the party's supporters. It remains to be seen if the loyalists of other parties realize their biggest blunder and would join hands with a person who has a clean track record and and has testimonials to have agitated innumerable times on people's sufferings.
