When Chiranjeevi directed a scene

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is known for his judgement on stories and how scenes appeal to movie lovers. Many times he was asked the question of whether he will make his foray into direction. Chiranjeevi however maintained a stoic silence. 

Chiranjeevi not many know has indeed directed a scene. People will never forget Chiranjeevi, Nagma, Vani Vishwanath's Gharana Mogudu. The film directed by Raghavendra Rao turned out to be a blockbuster. 

Paruchuri Gopala Krishna revealed that senior actor CL. Nayarana had good relations with Chiranjeevi since Khaidhi. He said ' In Gharana Mogudu there was a scene where Nagma sets her car on fire because Chiranjeevi got into it. Later Chiranjeevi saves Nagma when she was about to fall. At that time, while Nagma was leaving, CL. Narayana as a worker says 'amma pedodu ekkadani Karu tagalebettinav.. ippudu pedodu muttukunnadani ollu tagalabettukunev'. Raghavendra Rao however rejected the dialogue as he felt it was extra and not needed. Chiranjeevi however liked it and he met Raghavendra Rao and told it would be good'

Paruchuri continued ' Raghavendra Rao told Chiranjeevi ' I will not take. You go and direct' and with a smile went back and sat on his chair. Chiranjeevi directed the scene and it got a good response from viewers in the theatres. This shows the generous nature of Raghavendra Rao".
