Tollywood stars scared of heroines height?

Generally, heroines are short opposite heroes. However, some heroines like Anushka are tall and this becomes a hindrance despite their acting talent. Many Tollywood Stars who are of average height are averse to romance taller heroines. Faria Abdullah who impressed all with her performance in her debut film Jaathi Ratnaalu is failing to get any offers and she is 5'10". 

Producer Lagadapati Sridhar concurs the same saying most of the top stars are of average height. He however predicted a great future for Faria. He added compared to Tollywood Stars, Bollywood stars are quite accommodative. He pointed that Salman Khan, Amir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan romanced taller heroines like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Jacqueline Fernandez.  Many feel Rana on the advice of Lagadapati decided to give up his be aversion and started sharing screen presence with shorter heroine Sai Pallavi in Virataparvam. Hemanth Madhukar the director days few heroes stand on stools opposite taller heroines but he refused to reveal the names. He said opposite Anushka, he considered Aravind Swamy before finalising Madhavan in Nissabdam. He said Anushka romanced short hero Surya as she prefers performance-oriented roles. He says the height of a heroine is not a problem as Nitya Menon despite her shortness became a top heroine. 

Hamsa Nandini who is 5'7" says her height proved to be her disadvantage as she didn't get offers and had to settle for special songs. She recollected that one director truly her that he couldn't cast her as she overshadows the hero. This could be the reason why Mamata Mohandas, Parvati Melton, Karthika, Richa Gangopadhya and Deeksha Seth couldn't make it big in Tollywood. Siami Kher who is 5'7" and romanced Nagarjuna in Wild Dog days she never faced any issues due to her height. She said she is lucky to romance Nagarjuna and Sai Dharam Tej who is taller than her and revealed during commercials heroes used to stand on stools opposite her.  She says talent and hits and not height matter in the industry.
