As is known, some class 10 and Intermediate students and their parents filed petitions in the AP high court the other day seeking the cancellation of SSC and Intermediate board examinations. They knocked at the HC's door only after making a series of protests against the government's adamant decision on going ahead with the conduct of the exams.
The case came to HC's hearing today. The court asked the government to reconsider its decision on conducting the examinations. Also, the court questioned the AP government what precautions are being taken up on the students who contracted COVID.
The AP education minister, Adimulapu Suresh, however, convened an emergency press meet to answer the questions raised by the HC. Adimulapu has, blatantly, said the government would no way rethink its decision on examinations.
Further, the minister assured that the government wouldn't let covid students take the examinations. "Thermal scanning, sanitization and an isolation room are provided in the exam centres," the minister proclaims.
