In an interview that dates back to 2017, Shahid said that being a star wife comes with its own perks and disadvantages. Speaking about the stardom how it is affected his wife Mira, Jersey actor stated that initially he had told her to carry security personnel while going out but she was like she doesn’t require it and she isn’t a star.

Shahid goes on to say that, “When Mira went out one fine day, the other moment she told me that some random people keep coming and touch her. Then I said now you understand the reason to keep security personnel”.

The actor goes on to add that however again she was misrepresented as the next day headline comes in “Why Mira Needs Bouncers”. He adds that the profession he is in demands such and intrudes with his personal space.
