Uppena Girl Krithi Shetty Gets Typecast!

Cinema industry is a glamor field where actors get typecast for mostly the roles they do initially. It’s tough to come out of the image and try differently. Apparently, Krithi Shetty is going through a peculiar situation with the grand success of her very first film Uppena which is set to cross 100 Cr gross mark soon.

Krithi Shetty played a traditional role in Uppena where she was seen wearing ethnic wear mostly. Even during promotions, the makers asked her to come in ethnic wear. Though she appeared in trendy outfits in few other occasions, people couldn’t accept her as a glamor diva after watching her in such decent role as Bebamma in Uppena.

Krithi Shetty gets typecast as she is playing similar roles in her next films- Shyam Singha Roy and Sudheer Babu’s films. She is also said to be getting mostly village belle or de-glamorous roles in her next films. Krithi is well aware of the fact that in order to sustain for long in the industry, heroines need to do all kind of roles, particularly glamorous roles.

In fact, Krithi Shetty wants to do different roles and she is ready to do glamorous roles as well. However, she is not getting the roles where she can show her glamor side. But, in coming days, she is hoping to bag interesting roles.
