Every second day in the industry, we hear of a star-kid or the descendants of a producer or a director expressing his/her interest to enter films. However, Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan begs to differ. The daughter of Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda has been in the spotlight for many years now and everyone felt she may enter films soon given her good looks and fashion sense. Yet she surprised many in a recent interview where she revealed that her priorities though are on entrepreneurship.

Navya has reportedly expressed interest to join her father’s business and not enter films. She hopes to take over the company as a fourth-generation entrepreneur and would be happy being the first woman in the Nanda family to do so. Inspired by the sharp rise in female entrepreneurs over the years, Navya believes she has what it takes to be a strong business leader.

It’s heartening to see a young girl wanting to be an entrepreneur while being in a family where Bollywood entry would have been a walk in the park. Interestingly, Navya’s younger brother Agastya wants to be part of the film industry and is gearing up for his debut. Two siblings in a star family taking different paths, unique isn’t it?
