Uppena, Biggest Opener For Debutant

What is the biggest opener for a debut hero so far? Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil- The Power Of Jua was the biggest opener with 7.5 Cr share on day one. Now, Vaishnav Tej breaks the record with his maiden heroic film Uppena. The film on its first day has collected a share of 10 Cr+ on day one.

There was exceptional buzz on Uppena before the release, thanks to wonderful music provided Devi Sri Prasad. Youngsters thronged to theatres to see a pure love story on screen that was promised through promos. As per trade analysts, Uppena saw houseful boards in all the areas on day one in all the centres.

Bookings for today and tomorrow are very encouraging and with positive mouth talk the film will continue to do well for at least couple of weeks. Since the films releasing in next week are targeted at different sections, Uppena is sure to set few other benchmarks for a debut hero.
