Can Allu Arjun And Dad Add Pushpa Masala?

OTT business witnessed huge upsurge during lockdown given theatres were closed and people not allowed to go outside. They literally didn’t have any option for entertainment other than watching films on different platforms. Aha that turned one, a day ago had taken huge advantage of the lockdown.

Owned by Allu Aravind, the platform that mostly made Telugu originals mostly acquired dubbing rights of Malayalam and other language films as it doesn’t require much investment. It was a big surprise when stylish star Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramloo OTT rights were sold for Netflix and SunNxt. Many questioned why Aha didn’t acquire the film rights, though the film was produced by home production house Geetha Arts.

The biggest project obtained by Aha so far is Ravi Teja’s Krack. Actually, the deal was closed for moderate amount and moreover producer Tagore Madhu is very close to mega family. Now, many wonder whether Aha will buy OTT rights of Allu Arjun’s ongoing film Pushpa or repeat the same mistake of Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.

Aha says, “One year of adding extra masala to your dinner. Meere Aha… Meedhe Aha!” Well, the question is will they add Pushpa masala to the application or leave it to others fearing of huge investment? Interim, the film directed by Sukumar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna is announced to be released on August 13th.
