Exclusive: Chiranjeevi Confirms Call Sheets for that Movie!

Blockbuster Malayalam film Lucifer Telugu remake has been making news ever since it was announced by the Mega family. After considering many names, Mohan Raja was finalised to helm the Telugu remake. Now we have first-hand information that Megastar Chiranjeevi has given his call sheets for the Lucifer remake. Our well-placed source has revealed that Sye Raa will be joining the sets of Lucifer remake from February 11 next year. Tamil director Mohan Raja made his Tollywood directorial debut in 2001 with Hanuman Junction. Post that he went on to establish himself as a successful director in Kollywood. And with the Lucifer Telugu remake, he is returning back to Tolywood after a gap of 19-years.

Apart from the Lucifer remake, Chiranjeevi would also be doing Vedalam, a Telugu remake, which would be directed by Meher Ramesh. Incidentally, Sye Raa star was supposed to join the sets of the Vedalam remake after wrapping up Koratala Siva's Acharya. It was believed that he would join the sets from April. But now Chiru has sidelined Vedalam and has confirmed call sheets for Lucifer which will kick-start from February.

Currently, Chiranjeevi is occupied with political drama Acharya, the shoot of which is currently underway in the outskirts of Hyderabad. At present, Chiranjeevi flew to Udaipur along with his family to attend the uber-wedding of his niece Niharika. The Royal theme wedding will take place today, December 9 at 7.15 pm, which will be followed by a reception at 8.30 pm. The big-fat Tollywood wedding has grabbed everyone's eyeballs.
