Aakasam Nee Haddura Gets NOC, RD Locked

Tamil star Suriya's upcoming flick Aakasam Nee Haddura (Soorarai Pottru in Tamil) has got the clearance from Indian Air Force and is all set to directly release on Amazon Prime Video. Couple of days ago, Suriya said that they're waiting for a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the IAF. Since the film is about the aviation industry, the Indian Air Force needs to give clearance for the film to release.

A day after Suriya announced the postponement of Aakasam Nee Haddura, the team received good news from the Indian Air Force. The film’s co-producer Rajsekharpandian took to Twitter to reveal that they have got the NOC from IAF. "We got the NOC #SooraraiPottru #AnbaanaFans Get ready for updates and new release date!! Festival of Lights (sic)."

The producer's tweet hints at a Diwali release as he had written 'Festival of Lights.' An official announcement on Soorarai Pottru's trailer and the release date will be made by Amazon Prime Video soon.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, Aakasam Nee Haddura is reportedly inspired by the real-life story of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. It was originally supposed to premiere on Amazon Prime on October 30.

Produced by Suriya's own production banner 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment, the film also also stars Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, and Karunas.
