Vijay Deverakonda's Fighter: ANOT Version 2.0

Directors write two to three versions for their films. Likewise, director Puri Jagannadh too penned two versions for his film Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi. The film that starred Ravi Teja stood as a blockbuster at the box office. Puri is said to have modified second version of ANOT for his ongoing flick Fighter.

Puri first approached young tiger NTR and then stylish star Allu Arjun for the film. But, the two actors rejected the script. Puri made few more changes to the script and narrated it to Vijay Deverakonda who loved it completely. In fact, the actor predicts that Fighter will be a game changer for him.

Being made as pan India entertainer, Fighter marks Bollywood debut of Vijay Deverakonda. Ananya Pandey plays his love interest and Ramya Krishna will be seen as his mother. Now, reports are coming out that, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty is being considered to play Vijay's father in the film. This charcter will have shades of Prakash Raj's in ANOT.

Fighter new shooting schedule will take place from next month in Bangkok. After that, the team will shoot pending scenes in specially erected sets in Hyderabad. Actually, these sequences were planned to be shot in Mumbai.

Fighter is likely to release in summer, 2021.
