Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s new film Khiladi is launched today. Directed by Ramesh Varma, the film’s first look poster was released today. Ravi Teja is seen in a stylish avatar and the tagline play smart hinted that the film is going to be a mind game between protagonist and antagonist.

We came to know that, Khiladi is not a straight film but a remake of Tamil film Sathuranga Vettai 2 which was shelved long ago. Arvind Swamy and Trisha were the lead cast of the film which had begun in 2016. Due to some reasons, the film has been scrapped by the makers later on and went off the news.

We all know that, Sathuranga Vettai was a super hit and the film was remade in Telugu as Bluff Master. But, the spiritual successor of the Tamil film was shelved even after completing major shooting part.

Ramesh Varma with the help of writers made enough changes to the script though he purchased the same from Tamil makers. Khiladi will go on sets from November. Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi are the leading ladies in the film.

The question is will Khiladi which happens to be the remake of a Tamil shelved project work in Telugu?
