New Mega Hero Finds Right Season

Supreme hero Sai Tej's younger brother Vaishnav Tej's debut film Uppena was earlier supposed to be released on April 1 as a summer gift for the audience. But then, all the plans of the makers have been devastated with the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and the implementation of lockdown.

Of course, every filmmaker encountered the same crisis.

In the meanwhile, rumours were mushroomed that Uppena would be releasing on OTT platform. Team Uppena rubbished those speculations and made it clear that the film will hit in theatres only.
According to an update, Uppena wll be released during Sankranthi season, 2021. By that time, theatres will be functioning, anyway.

Uppena was directed by Sana Buchibabu under Mythri Movie Makers. Krithi Shetty played the main heroine. Rockstar DSP is the music director.
