Acharya Vs RRR Clash On Cards: Vakeel Saab Lucky!

Release dates of all the big budgeted films got altered, thanks to corona pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. It is now almost confirmed that, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s latest flick Vakeel Saab will be hitting the screens for Sankranthi, 2021. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited.

Directed by Venu Sriram under Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vakeel Saab was initially planned for summer release, this year. The makers then thought of releasing the film for Dussehra.

Given, things look bleak and there’s no possibility of films shoot to resume at least for another couple of months, Vakeel Saab team has decided to postpone their film to the biggest festival season. In fact, Dil Raju feels sankranthi as positive omen for movie release.

Coming to other big films, SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Ram Charan, NTR and megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya being helmed by Koratala Siva are reportedly pushed to summer, 2021.

RRR has completed 75% of its shoot and it will take 3 to 4 months time for him to wrap up remaining portions. However, since the film requires big number of artists and technicians to take part in the shoot, the makers are contemplating of postponing RRR to summer.

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi’s Acharya has completed only 30 to 40 % of shoot till date. This film too is now pushed to summer to make 2021 summer race more interesting.

If things go well, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa and few other films will also hit the screens for summer. But, fortunately Vakeel Saab would be the solo release for sankranthi.
