Filmmakers Perspective Changed, Thankfully For Them

Nowadays female-oriented films are coming on a regular basis and this is auguring well with Actresses to showcase their acting talent instead of getting branded as glamor dolls opposite star heroes.

Till sometime back, filmmakers used to think twice about female-oriented films having doubts about the capability of the heroines. But many times films like Arundhati, Rudramadevi, Oh Baby and Mahanati proved that Actresses can carry films on their shoulders.

Anushka got the brand image as the one who can pull the viewers to theatres with female-oriented films. She is now set to entertain with her upcoming film Nishabdham. She is set to star in another female-oriented film in UV Creations.

Samantha of late is giving importance to female-oriented films. She impressed all with Oh Baby and keeping her in view, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is readying script for Bengaluru Naga Ratnamma biopic. Samantha is doing two female-oriented films in Tamil.

Keerthy Suresh after Mahanati has been doing female-oriented films. Her recent release Penguin, Good Luck Sakhi and Miss India are female-oriented films. Tamannaah, Kajal, Taapsee, and Shriya are also showing interest in female-oriented films. Tamannaah is starring in That Is Mahalakshmi. Kajal is doing a lady oriented film in Tamil.

Regina, Nivetha Thomas, Anupama Parameswaran are also following the suit. Regina and Nivetha Thomas are starring in Midnight Runners' remake and Anupama Parameswaran is doing a film under a newcomer's direction. Scripts are ready for Nithya Menon and Shriya also.

Anil Ravipudi before F2 planned a female-oriented film. He says he will do the film in the future. Parasuram also readied a script for a female-oriented film.
