CBSE, ICSE Cancelled? JEE Mains Too?

The Cbse and SCSE boards decided to cancel class 10 and 12 examinations which, hitherto, were scheduled from July 1. The boards informed the same to the Apex court. The results would be declared based on the last three internals of the students. 

In the wake of the cancellation of Cbse and ICSE examinations, the question arises whether JEE Mains and advanced examinations, which are scheduled in July and August, would be deferred. 

Reports, however, say JEE Mains, Advanced and NEET won't be cancelled under any circumstances. Instead, JEE Mains might be pushed to August or September while NEET is likely to be held in the month of August.

In such a scenario, when will the new academic year for undergraduate courses be started? It's heard the academic year would be started around January 1, 2021 while the lengthy process of counselling will be ended by December. 

Apart from aforementioned All India Entrance Examinations, several other entrance tests to be conducted by various deemed-to-be-universities such as BITSAT, VITEEE, Amrita and others may or may not be deferred as per the prevalent circumstances.
