Sushant Suicide: Sridevi Daughter In Dire Straits

When Sridevi planned to launch her daughter Janhvi Kapoor in the industry almost all producers and directors from across the country flooded her with crazy offers offering huge amounts. However, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor got convinced by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar who promised to launch her in a big way.

But much to the shock of all, Karan Johar instead of launching her opposite a top Bollywood star, cast her opposite a newcomer Ishan Khattar and that too he remade Marathi hit Sairat as Dhadak. Many from the south wondered why Sridevi rejected crazy offers from here opposite top stars and instead settled for a relatively unknown actor.

Janhvi Kapoor's second film Gunjan Saxena biopic, Kargil Girl is releasing on Aug 15 on the OTT platform. This is shocking all and especially Boney and Janhvi as only unknown stars prefer OTT releases and others prefer to wait for theatre releases.

Now with Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide, things are looking bleak and Karan Johar went into hiding. In normal circumstances, he would have started the film promotions.

Overall Janhvi is in dire straits and only Boney Kapoor has to take the blame for rejecting crazy offers from the south.
